Quality Assurance Council
Local, regional, international student exchange institutions and cooperation require quality of the institutions. Since the world is becoming a global village, it has become very vital to know about the quality at the other institutions. Institutions cooperate with other institutions regarding exchange of students and the institutions assess each other`s programme and curriculum weather they are good enough.
Institutions desire to teach and train graduates in order to meet the needs of society. Labor markets, and employers expect higher education institutions to provide students with adequate and updated knowledge and skills for the right job fulfillment.
Quality is the primary responsibility of the higher education providers. In many countries, governments have special responsibilities regarding quality assurance; it is the institution and especially ,its staff and students, that is responsible for providing and assuring quality. For this reason, it is important for institutions to develop an effective Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) system.
